Checking the Fuel Shutoff Valve
The solenoid shut-off valve on the injection pump opens the fuel supply when the ignition is switched on. It should be checked if the engine does not start or continues to run after the ignition is turned off.
Warning! When working on the injection system, the rules of cleanliness must be observed.
1. Turn the steering wheel ignition switch on and off. In this case, the electromagnetic switch should click.
2. Otherwise, unscrew the electrical wires.
3. Run an auxiliary cable from the positive battery pole to the valve.
4. If the valve now clicks, check the voltage supply on the wiring diagram, replace if necessary.
5. If no fault is found, replace the valve.
Removing
Disconnect the cable and unscrew the valve.
Installation
1. Install the valve piston and spring into the new valve. Pay attention to the correct location of the sealing rings.
2. Screw in the new valve with a force of 20 N.m.
3. Screw on the cable.
