Carburetor models



1. Remove the air filter (Section 3).

2. Referring to Figure 6.16, release the spring clip (A).

3. Release the throttle cable adjustment, then spread the bezel (B) until the throttle lever (4) is against the throttle stop without parts (5) and (6) facing each other. Secure the bezel in this position.

4. Adjust the accelerator pedal so that there is no free play.

5. Slowly depress the fuel control pedal until the kickdown mechanism is fully depressed. Install the spring clip (A).

6. Install the air filter (Section 3).

7. Referring to Figure 6.17, release the safety clip (B).

8. Depress the fuel control pedal until it touches the kickdown mechanism (photo).

9. Spread the bezel (6) until the throttle lever is against the fully open throttle stop, then install the spring clip (B).

10. With the accelerator pedal released, adjust it so that there is no free play.

11. Loosen the spring clip (A).
