Electronically controlled chassis damping (Opel Omega A)

The damping force of all four shock absorbers can be set by turning the adjustment wheel to the following positions:

• S - sport: high shock absorption
• M - medium: normal depreciation
• C - comfortable: low shock absorption
• C: at a speed of about 115 km/h it automatically switches to "M".
• C: returns to its original position when the speed drops to 110 km/h.

The headlight range adjustment switch can be placed above the adjustment ring.

There is also a control lamp there. After the ignition is turned on, it lights for about 4 seconds in the system self-diagnosis mode. If the system is OK, it goes out.

If a malfunction is detected, it continues to light or flashes. Specialist assistance is required.
