Checking the resistance of the injector winding
Make sure the ignition is off.
Disconnect the connector from the electronic control unit.
Connect an ohmmeter to the plugs «12» And «9» control block pads. The resistance on the ohmmeter should be 4 ohms.
Check the continuity of the circuit by connecting an ohmmeter between the plugs «12» pads of the control unit and the nozzle, as well as between the plug «9» pads of the control unit and output «87» injection control relay. In both cases, the ohmmeter reading should be in the range of 15-19 ohms.
Checking the fuel spray cone with injectors
Remove the distribution line, injectors and pressure regulator.
Connect the injectors and pressure regulator to the distribution line.
Connect the fuel supply and drain hoses to the distribution line. Positioning the injectors over a suitably sized container and activating the starter briefly, check the fuel spray cone with the injector, which should correspond to that shown in the figure.
Injector leak test
Disconnect the block from the injector.
Remove the injector without disconnecting the fuel line from it.
Disconnect the wire from the output «1» ignition coils and briefly turn on the starter. Fuel leakage through the nozzle should not exceed two drops per minute.
