Checking the resistance of the injector winding

Make sure the ignition is off.

Disconnect the connector from the electronic control unit.

Connect the ohmmeter to the "12" and "9" plugs of the control unit connector. The resistance on the ohmmeter should be 4 ohms.

Check the integrity of the circuit by connecting an ohmmeter between the "12" plugs of the control unit socket and the injector, as well as between the "9" plug of the control unit socket and the "87" terminal of the injection system control relay. In both cases, the ohmmeter readings should be within 15-19 Ohms.

Checking the fuel spray cone of the injectors

Remove the fuel line, injectors and pressure regulator.

Connect the injectors and pressure regulator to the distribution line.

Connect the injectors and pressure regulator to the distribution line.

Connect the fuel supply and drain hoses to the fuel distribution line. By placing the injectors over a container of a suitable size and briefly turning on the starter, check the fuel spray cone of the injector, which should correspond to that shown in the figure.

Checking the tightness of the injectors

Disconnect the block from the injector.

Remove the injector without disconnecting the fuel line from it.

Disconnect the wire from terminal "1" of the ignition coil and briefly turn on the starter. Fuel leakage through the injector should not exceed two drops per minute.
