Turn off all consumers.
The air damper must be fully open. The air filter has been removed.
Pull out the engine vent hose and pinch it. Connect tachometer and CO tester. Start the engine.
Remove the seal from the adjusting screw.
Check idle speed, adjust if necessary.
Check CO content. Adjust with screw -A- in fig. up, meaning see paragraph 4.47.
Attention: During adjustments, the radiator fan should not work.
If the idle turns off, readjust.
Put the blue filling back in.
Attention: After adjusting the CO, insert the crankcase ventilation hose into place. If the CO content increases, this is not a consequence of adjustment, but of intensive operation of the engine in urban conditions. When driving fast in the countryside for 30 minutes, or changing the oil, the CO content returns to normal.
