Idle speed adjustment (Opel Kadett D)

Warm up the engine to an oil temperature of +60°C.

Turn off all consumers.

The air starting damper should be fully open. The air filter has been removed.

Connect the tachometer according to the instructions.

Pull out the engine crankcase ventilation hose and pinch it.

Start the engine.



Check the idle speed. Adjust with screw -B-, value see paragraph 4.47.

Caution: The radiator fan must not operate during adjustments.
