Removal
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the air filter.
Remove the carburetor cover.
Remove the float from the cap.
Examination
The valve, when air is blown into it by mouth from above, should not let air through if you lightly press the small working pin of the float with your finger. The pin should move slightly.
Installation
Install the float with a new seal (see data table). Do not tighten too much. The seal must be centered relative to the float needle.
Install the carburetor cover with a new seal.
Install the air filter, connect the ground cable to the battery.
