Lubrication of locks, hinges and stops (Opel Corsa C)

1. For lubricating the lock cylinders, special grease of the Opel type No.1948610 and identification number 09163311 must be used. For the remaining lubrication points, bearing grease or grease for systems operating under high loads (Opel No.1948607/-608 with identification number 90510336/-2 280) can be used.

2. The travel limiters and door hinges, the front door lock cylinder and some other elements shown in the accompanying illustration are subject to lubrication.

Caution: After using the anti-icing agent, the door lock cylinders must be lubricated.


3. Check the proper functioning, reliability and precision of all hinges, latches and locks, if necessary, make the appropriate adjustments. Check the proper functioning of the single lock.

4. Check the condition and proper functioning of the tailgate stops - the stops must securely hold the door in the raised position. Replace any faulty components.
