Replacement and testing of the SRS system components should be performed only at a service station. No design changes to the SRS system are allowed.
When removing any seat, disconnect the battery. Insulate the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental contact. Then wait about one minute until the capacitor discharges.
When performing welding work, the pole clamp of the welding machine must be connected directly to the part to be welded. Be sure to disconnect the SRS control unit.
