Note: On these models, the A-pillar and tailgate sill trims are removed in the same way as on the Hatchback models (see Section 44).
Caution: When working near Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) components, use caution and follow the appropriate safety precautions (see Chapter "Controls and Operating Techniques", Sections 13 and 16)!
Attention: When connecting the battery, no one should be in the car!
Upper B-pillar trim section
1. Disconnect the wires and insulate the battery terminals (see Chapter 5).
2. Pry off the upper seat belt anchor cover (see accompanying illustration) and fold it up. Unscrew the fastening screw and remove the seat belt from the C-pillar.

3. Using a screwdriver, pry up the service cover of the upper section of the B-pillar trim and carefully separate it by gradually moving the screwdriver along the perimeter of the cover (see the corresponding subsection Section 43). Insert a plastic wedge under the trim and press the 2 fasteners, remove the trim from the rack by pulling it up.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim. Check that the belt strap is not twisted and can be wound freely on the drum. Check the operation of the belt (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques").
Upper C-pillar trim section
5. Disconnect the wires and insulate the battery terminals (see Chapter 5).
6. Open the tailgate.
7. Remove the upper seat belt anchor cover (see accompanying illustration), unscrew the mounting screw and remove the belt from the C-pillar.

8. Press down the 3 latches (see illustration 46.7) and remove the trim from the rack.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim. Check that the belt strap is not twisted and can be wound freely on the drum. Check the operation of the belt (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques").
Rear side trim
10. Remove the rear door sill trim (see Section 43).
11. Open the tailgate and remove the luggage compartment shelf.
12. Remove the luggage compartment floor cover, remove the towbar ball joint, fold the rear seat back forward and remove the luggage compartment.
13. Remove the rear bench seat together with the seat back (see Section 49).
14. Remove the upper B-pillar trim section (see above).
15. Remove the screw securing the lower seat belt guide (see accompanying illustration) and disconnect the bracket together with the belt. Remove the guide bracket bushing from the side trim.

16. Remove the plug (see illustration 46.15) side trim and remove the mounting screw underneath. Remove the remaining 2 mounting screws, press the 8 fasteners and remove the side trim.
17. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim. Check the operation of the belt (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques").
Side trim of the luggage compartment

18. Remove the rear side trim (see above).
19. Remove the rear door sill trim (see Section 44).
20. Remove the C-pillar trim (see above).
21. Remove the 3 upper mounting screws (see accompanying illustration), using a plastic wedge, press the 2 fasteners and separate the side trim from the tailgate frame.

22. Disconnect the connector (see illustration 46.21) the luggage compartment light wiring harness from the back of the trim and remove the trim panel.
23. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim.
Interior trim of thresholds
24. Open the front doors and the tailgate and remove the door seals (see Section 37).
25. Using a plastic wedge, press the 5 fasteners and remove the threshold trim from the door frame (see accompanying illustration).

26. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, check the condition of the clamps and the correctness of their mating with the threshold trim, replace if necessary.
Attention: Check the wiring - the wires laid along the doorway should not be pinched!
Make sure the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim.
