Gearbox — Checking the oil level (Opel Astra G)

1. Place the car over an inspection pit or drive onto an overpass.

2. The oil level is checked no earlier than 5 minutes after the trip.

3. The oil level should be at the bottom of the inspection hole. The inspection hole plug is located behind the axle shaft on the left or right (on 2.0 l engines) checkpoint sides (see photo).



4. If necessary, add oil through the breather hole in the upper part of the gearbox housing (pre-wipe and turn out the breather).
