Gear shift lever and gear selector shaft
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands. Remove the lower engine/transmission skid plate.
2. Mark the position of the clamp relative to the shaft and loosen the clamp bolt. Engage 4th gear and remove the shaft from the clamp and boot.
3. Remove the center floor section.
4. Loosen the screws and remove the switch panel next to the lever, disconnecting the connectors.
5. Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the lever with the gear selection shaft.
6. Remove the bracket (split pin) and disconnect the shaft from the lever.
Backstage
7. Remove the shaft from the clamp and boot by following the steps above.
8. Remove the rocker arm shaft (see photo), which is located at the top of the checkpoint.

9. Remove the bracket mounting brackets from the gearshift lever and remove the gearshift lever. If necessary, unscrew the bolts and remove the brackets.
10. Check the condition of the backstage (see photo). Replace worn parts.

11. Install the lever and shaft in reverse order. Tighten the clamp bolt in 2 stages (see Technical data). Adjust the gear selector shaft if necessary.

12. When installing the linkage, replace the axle, lubricate the ball joints with silicone grease. Secure the linkage with clamps, making sure that the clamps go into the grooves on the bracket (see photo). Make sure the rocker arm shaft is securely held in place by the retainer (see photo).
