The fluid is recommended to be changed every 2 years.
1. Remove the expansion tank cap (see photo), place a vessel under the right side of the radiator.
2. On parts of cars, remove the dirt deflector under the radiator. Put a hose on the drain valve of the radiator (see photo), which you lower into the vessel. Turn off the tap and drain the liquid. There is no drain plug in the cylinder block. Therefore, liquid may remain in the cylinder block, which, when flushed, is replaced by water. When filling the system, check the density of the liquid, which must correspond to the required freezing point.
3. The cooling system is flushed with running water from a hose. Disconnect the upper and lower hoses from the radiator and flush the radiator and cylinder block with running water. The system is flushed until clean water flows from the hose. If heavily soiled, flush the radiator and cylinder block in the opposite direction. Use of special detergents is allowed.
4. The system is filled through the expansion tank. Bring the fluid level up to the KALT mark (or COLD) on the tank. When filling the cooling system with liquid, periodically remove air by squeezing the upper and lower radiator hoses.
5. Warm up the engine, stop, and after the engine has cooled down, check the fluid level in the expansion tank. Add fluid if necessary.
