Cooling system — general information (Opel Astra G)
The cars in question are equipped with a forced thermostatic high-pressure cooling system. The circulation of liquid in the engine is provided by a centrifugal pump with a drive from the camshaft belt. The radiator has a cross-flow, blown by an electric fan. The fan operation is controlled by a separate unit, which is mounted behind the front bumper on the left side.
