Windshield fairing panel — removal and installation (Opel Astra F)

Open the hood.

Remove the windshield wiper arms as shown in chapter 12.

Remove the two large nuts from the windshield wiper drive shafts.

Remove the screw caps from the fairing panel and remove the screws.

Note how the fairing panel is secured to the seal at the base of the windshield, then carefully release the ends of the fairing panel at the opening (the ends of the panel are secured with Velcro tapes) and remove the panel from the car.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

Check that the panel is correctly secured to the seal.

Make sure the panel is securely fastened with Velcro tapes.
