General information and precautions
Attention! When leaving the car, do not forget to remove the key from the ignition, set the parking brake, close all windows and lock the doors! It is reasonable to lock the doors also while driving in order to prevent their accidental opening, as well as in order to prevent intruders from entering the car (e.g. at traffic lights). When transporting children in the back seat, turn on the additional lock for unlocking the doors from the passenger compartment!
Attention! In order to prevent the penetration of engine exhaust gases into the passenger compartment, never carry cargo whose dimensions do not allow the tailgate / luggage compartment lid to be completely closed!
All models covered in this manual are equipped as standard with a single remote-controlled lock that allows you to simultaneously lock or unlock all vehicle doors (see Section 8).
Unlocking and locking doors with the remote control
See Section 8.
Unlocking and locking doors from the outside with a key
On all models covered in this manual, the driver's door and tailgate/tailgate locks are equipped with cylinders that allow the corresponding door/tailgate to be unlocked and locked from the outside with a key.
Turning the key in the driver's door lock cylinder counterclockwise unlocks that door only. If, without removing the key from the lock cylinder, turn it again in the same direction, all other doors will automatically unlock (including the tailgate/luggage compartment lid, if its lock has not been activated before (see below)), as well as the fuel tank filler cap.
To lock the doors, trunk lid and filler flap, turn the key in the driver's door lock cylinder clockwise. Turning the key again in the same direction without removing the key from the lock cylinder will activate the anti-theft alarm/dual locking system (see Section 8). For details on unlocking/locking the tailgate/trunk lid, see below.
Note: Unlocking the tailgate/trunk lid with the key does not unlock the other doors.
Unlocking and locking the doors from the inside
Unlocking / locking the doors from the inside is made from the main switch of a single lock (see Section 8) - The driver's door must be tightly closed. In the event of a single lock system failure, the side doors can be unlocked/locked from the inside using push-buttons built into the top panels of the door upholstery. The locks are blocked by pushing the button in, - to release the lock, pull the button out of the receiving niche.
Note: If the double locking system has been previously activated (see Section 8), unlocking the doors from the inside is not possible.
Unlocking and locking doors using the single lock master switch
The single lock master switch button is located on the switch panel (see illustration 3.1), built into the driver's armrest (and with the appropriate configuration and the front passenger) doors.
3.1 Single lock main switch button
For more information about the single lock system, see Section 8.
Additional blocking of locks of rear doors
Attention! Use the rear door lock whenever there are children in the rear seats! Inform passengers accordingly!
A special additional lock serves to prevent the possibility of accidental opening of the rear doors from the passenger compartment, which is especially important when young children are in the car. The lock is activated by turning a special cylinder mounted in the rear end wall of the door assembly (the groove of the cylinder must be horizontal), - use the key, or any other suitable tool (see illustration 3.2). To release the lock, move the cylinder to its previous position - the groove must be located vertically.

Unlocking and locking the tailgate/trunk lid lock
With the key removed, the tailgate/trunk lid lock cylinder can be in one of two positions:
- The groove of the cylinder is horizontal;
- The groove of the cylinder is vertical.
In the first position of the cylinder, unlocking / locking the tailgate / luggage compartment lid lock is performed with a key, or one of the regular methods of activating a single lock (see Section 8), and unlocking also by pressing the button on the remote control (see illustration 3.3) or buttons on the switch panel (see illustration 3.4), built into the driver's armrest (and with the appropriate configuration and passenger) doors. If the tailgate/tailgate is not opened within 30 seconds of unlocking, the lock will automatically lock.
3.3 Button for unlocking the tailgate / trunk lid on the remote control
3.4 Button for unlocking the tailgate/luggage compartment lid on the switch panel in the armrest of the driver's door
With anti-theft system activated (see Section 8) The tailgate/trunk lid can be unlocked separately from the other doors by pressing the button on the remote control or with the key. In this case, interior volume control and vehicle tilt control will be automatically deactivated and reactivated approximately 10 seconds after the tailgate/trunk lid is closed.
To open the tailgate/trunk lid, simply press the lock. In the upper position, the door/lid is held by special gas-filled racks.
Attention! Mounting additional equipment on the tailgate increases its mass - the door may not be held in the open position!
To close the trunk, there is a handle on the inside of the tailgate/trunk lid (see illustration 3.5). The lock snaps into place automatically when the door/lid is slammed. If unlocking was done by pressing the button, the tailgate/tailgate lock will automatically be locked approximately 30 seconds after the door/tailgate is closed. When starting off and when the car reaches a speed of 4 km / h, the lock will also be blocked automatically. When the lock cylinder is set to the second position, the lock is blocked, and it can only be unlocked with a key. To unlock the tailgate/trunk lid, turn the key in the lock clockwise as far as it will go.
3.5 The luggage compartment lid is equipped with a handle for closing
Note: When the key is turned to the extreme right position, it is not possible to remove it from the lock cylinder.
The lock is locked after closing the door/cover by turning the key counterclockwise to one of the above described positions.
