1. Heat the molding with a hair dryer.
2. Gently pry off the edge of the molding with a plastic wedge. Gradually moving the wedge along the edge of the lining around the entire perimeter, disconnect it from the door.
3. The new molding has an adhesive surface on the reverse side. Before gluing, clean the mating surface of the door from silicone residue and dirt with a special solvent or gasoline, then wipe it dry with a clean rag.
4. Remove the protective film from the back of the molding, heat the adhesive surface with a hair dryer and attach the molding to the place of gluing. Initially, do not press the overlay with great force so that it can be corrected in case of inaccurate application. After the molding has taken its place, press it firmly against the door.
