Glass dismantling
To dismantle the glass, the front frame must be removed from the instrument housing, see the next section.
Remove the glass from the clips on the front frame
When installing new glass, push it in until it locks into place.
Mount the front frame.
Removing the instrument housing
Unscrew a total of four torx screws on the back of the instrument housing.
Remove the front frame from the clips. To do this, carefully lift the four clips with a narrow screwdriver, at the same time remove the instrument housing from the front frame.
With the front frame dismantled, do not touch the arrows. Touching the pointer will cause the indicator gauge to be out of alignment and the whole body of the gauge will become unusable.
Removing the indicator display
Remove the instrument panel.
On the back of the instrument panel, unscrew the indicator display mounting screws.
Lift the four clips and at the same time remove the indicator display from the instrument panel.
When mounting, press down on the display until the clips lock into place. Then screw on the display.
Control lights
Except for the oil pressure warning light, the rest of the warning lights in the Vectra models are solidly soldered to their sockets and as spare parts can only be purchased as a complete assembly. When dismantling, turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn to the left and remove it. On the other hand, bulbs with glass bases for instrument lighting can be replaced individually, see chapter «Lighting».
