Coolant level sensor — removal and installation (Opel Vectra B)

The sensor is located in the expansion tank.

Removal

1. Unscrew the filler cap of the expansion tank and relieve the residual pressure in the cooling system.

2. Pump the coolant out of the expansion tank until its level drops below the sensor.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor from the expansion tank.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
