Driving is possible. Contact an authorized Opel workshop. Avoid prolonged operation with the engine electrical equipment status indicator on. A short-term, single light-up can be ignored.

If the engine electrical equipment status indicator flashes when the ignition is turned on, there is a malfunction in the electronic immobilizer system, and the engine cannot be started.

Brake system, hydraulic clutch control drive

Lights up when the ignition is on, if the parking brake is applied and/or the fluid level in the brake or clutch hydraulic system is below normal.

If it lights up when the handbrake is released: check the braking effect without creating a dangerous situation for other road users.

If there is no braking effect, stop driving further. Contact an authorized Opel workshop for assistance.

If the braking effect still exists, you should drive carefully to the nearest Opel workshop.

Drive slowly and carefully so that you can brake confidently at any time using the remaining brake force or the handbrake. Avoid driving on sloped roads.

Generator

Oil pressure

Lights up when the ignition is on. Goes out after the engine starts. May light up briefly in idle mode of a warm engine, should go out at a higher engine speed.

If it lights up while driving, lubrication of the engine may be interrupted, which may result in engine damage or locking of the drive wheels.

Anti-lock braking system ABS

Pre-heating system (diesel engines)
