1. Check the fuse in the fuse box if the brake lights do not come on.
2. Check the brake light bulbs if the fuse is intact. Replace them if necessary.
3. Check the brake light switch if the brake light bulbs are OK. The brake light switch is located on the brake pedal bracket and is covered with a cover.
4. Remove the cover above the brake pedal bracket and disconnect the brake light switch plug.
5. Turn on the ignition
6. Short-circuit both contacts of the switch plug with a piece of wire. If the brake lights light up, the switch is faulty and should be replaced.
