Four-cylinder models
Removal
1. Drain the coolant.
2. Remove the timing belt tensioner pulley.
3. Disconnect the crankshaft sensor wire from the timing belt cover.
4. Unscrew and remove the water pump bolts. Mark the correct installation position of all bolts.
5. Remove the water pump from the engine.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. During installation, do not forget to replace the pump sealing ring and lubricate it with silicone grease.
Six-cylinder models
Removal
1. Drain the coolant.
2. Remove the front timing belt cover.
3. Unscrew and remove the water pump bolts. Mark the correct installation position of all bolts.
4. Remove the water pump.
5. Remove the gasket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. During installation, do not forget to replace the pump sealing ring and lubricate it with silicone grease.
