Blower Motor and Series Resistor (Opel Omega B)

Blower fan motor

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the glove box.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer and air vents from the instrument panel.

4. Disconnect the hose from the air recirculation valve vacuum block. Remove the block.

5. Disconnect the connector from the blower motor resistor.

6. Remove the screws.

7. Remove the motor and fan.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Series resistor

Removal

1. Disconnect the wire from the blower motor resistor.



2. Squeeze the latches and remove the resistor.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
