Balancing of serial wheels is carried out at the factory. Balancing is necessary to compensate for different weight distribution and material inaccuracies. During the operation of the car, imbalance can lead to damage of the suspension joints over time, in addition to vibration of the entire body. This can be noticed primarily by vibration of the steering wheel.
Wheels should be balanced every 20,000 km and after each tire repair, as wear and repairs can cause the distribution of weight and materials on the tires to become uneven.
