Wheel replacement (Opel Kadett D)

It is not recommended to change the wheel without special need. I advise driving until the front wheels approach the wear limit, then:

• Install new tires of the same type at the front
• Put the best of the old tires back (while maintaining their previous direction of rotation)

It is not advisable to change the direction of rotation of the tires, as they will wear out a lot before they adapt to the new direction of rotation.

To protect against severe corrosion, lubricate the area where the wheel meets the hub with plastic bearing grease each time the wheel is removed.

Before removing, make marks on the wheel and hub with chalk so that you can later install the wheel in its original position.

Please note: The tightening torque for all wheel bolts is 90 Nm.
