Wheels and tires — general information (Opel Kadett D)

Depending on the model and version, the OPEL KADETT is equipped with tires and wheels of different sizes. All wheels have a press-in depth of 49 mm. The press-in depth is the distance from the center of the rim to the surface of the wheel disk adjacent to the brake drum or brake disc. Technical development is constantly moving forward. It may be that other combinations of wheels and tires have recently become permissible for older models, as well as other tire pressure values. Therefore, it is recommended to find out the latest data in specialized workshops.

All disks are made as hump disks. Hump is a ring-shaped protrusion on the rim landing shelf, which prevents the tubeless tire from being squeezed out of the disk on sharp turns.

Note: Wheel bolts for steel and light metal rims are the same length. The tightening torque for all wheel bolts is 90 Nm.
