Anti-skid chains (Opel Kadett D)

            0

The use of anti-skid chains is advisable only on the drive wheels (front).

All models can only use fine-link chains that protrude no more than 15 mm above the wheel surface.

It is not permitted to fit anti-skid chains to tyres of size 165/60 SR, 14-74 S, 175/70 SR 1380 and 185/60 HR 14 and to rims of size 51x13. Only OPEL chains - No.1791616 - are permitted to be used on 165/65 SR 1478 S tyres.

You cannot drive faster than 50 km/h with anti-skid chains. On roads clear of snow and ice, chains should be removed.
