Anti-skid chains may only be installed on the front wheels (including all-wheel drive vehicles). Before installing the chains, remove the wheel caps.
The speed of movement of a car with installed anti-skid chains should not exceed 50 km/h. On roads without ice and snow, the chains should be removed.
All the vehicles described are permitted to use only thin-link chains, which together with the lock protrude from the inside of the tire by no more than 15 mm. Only chains approved for use by Opel may be installed.
