Removal



1. Install EN-38122-A holder (1).

Note: To prevent the crankshaft from turning, it is necessary to use the EN-43653 flywheel locking device in addition to the EN-38122-A device.


2. Loosen the balance pulley mounting bolt with the washer. Use the EM-38122-A holder with an extension rod to prevent the crankshaft from turning when loosening the bolt. After loosening, throw the bolt away.

3. Remove the crankshaft balance pulley (1) using a universal puller.

Installation



1. Install the balance pulley (2) on the EN-48585 guide (1). Make sure that the keyway and plane of the balance pulley are correctly aligned with the oil pump drive.

Caution: Make sure the balance pulley is correctly positioned relative to the crankshaft, otherwise serious engine damage may occur.

3. Install the new fastening bolt. Using the EN-38122-A holder (1) and extension rod, tighten the fastening bolt to 100 Nm, then tighten it a further 125° using the EN-45059 tool.
