Checking oil pressure (Z10XE, Z10XEP) (Opel Corsa C)

Note: The engine must be warmed up (oil temperature min. 80°C) before performing the inspection procedure.

Verification procedure

Open the hood.

Remove the oil pressure switch.

Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

Place a receiving tray underneath.

Install special tool KM-498-B.

Check engine oil pressure.

Start the engine.

Engine oil pressure should be approximately 150 kPa (1.5 bar) at idle speed.

Stop the engine.

Remove special tool KM-498-B.

Install the oil pressure switch on the cylinder head and tighten to a torque of 20 N·m.

Replace the sealing ring. Connect the wiring harness connector.

Check and adjust the engine oil level if necessary.

Close the hood.
