Opel Child Safety System (Opel Corsa C)

            0

The Opel child restraint system is designed to fit the Corsa and thus provides optimum protection for the child in the event of a collision. When using another child restraint system, please observe the operating and installation notes of the respective manufacturer.

Choosing the right system

The child should be transported in the car backwards as long as possible. It makes sense to change the system only when the child's head is no longer properly supported at eye level. The child's still very weak cervical vertebrae are loaded in a semi-recumbent position against the direction of travel much less in an accident than when sitting upright.

Note: Children under 12 years of age or shorter than 150 cm are only permitted to travel in an appropriate child safety seat.

When transporting children, use appropriate child restraint systems depending on their body weight.

It is necessary to ensure that child safety systems are installed correctly, see the operating instructions supplied with the child safety system.

The Opel child safety system upholstery is wet-cleanable.

Child safety systems must not be covered or covered with other materials.

After an accident, a child safety system that has been activated must be replaced.

For safety reasons, it is generally recommended to install child seats in the outer rear seats.

It is recommended to always fully utilize the entire mass range of the respective systems.

B1: if there is no front passenger airbag or if there is a seat occupancy detection device and an Opel child restraint system with transponders. In addition, the front passenger seat must be equipped with a height adjuster that is in the uppermost position, the front passenger seat must be moved as far back as possible and the height adjuster of the front passenger seat belt guide must be lowered to the lowermost position.

B2: if there is no side airbag, if the front passenger seat is moved all the way back, or if the seat occupancy detection device and the Opel child restraint system with transponders are installed. In addition, the front passenger seat must be equipped with a height adjuster, which must be in the uppermost position, the front passenger seat must be moved all the way back. Make sure that the vehicle seat belt runs as straight as possible between the shoulder and the guide on the vehicle.

U: universal suitability in combination with a three-point seat belt.
