2.1. Key with built-in remote control
The key is designed to turn on the ignition, start/stop the engine and unlock/lock the car doors, including in the event of a malfunction of the remote control and the main lock (see Section 8).
When equipped accordingly, the key allows you to control the electric window lifts of the doors and the sunroof from outside the vehicle (see Section 8).
Keys are an integral part of the car's anti-theft system (see Section 8). They have a built-in transponder, the code of which is authorized for this car. Starting the engine using another key is not possible.
The production of replacement/additional keys may involve the need to perform the procedure of recoding the single lock. When placing an order for the production of an additional/restoration of a lost key, you should provide the service station representative with all available keys along with a package of documents for the vehicle.

Note: The vehicle documentation contains complete information on the vehicle's security system (key numbers, code numbers for the electronic engine immobilizer system and infotainment system). Keep your documents and spare key in a safe place outside the vehicle.
