Please note that on 1.4 and 1.6 l models the sump is installed via a gasket, which must be replaced during assembly. When installing on 1.4 and 1.6 l models, the sealant is applied to the mating surface of the cylinder block in the areas where the oil pump housing and rear main bearing cover are joined.
