Axle shaft seals
1. The procedure for replacing the seals is no different from that discussed in Chapter 7A.
Torque converter seal
2. Remove the transmission.
3. Remove the torque converter from the transmission shaft.
4. Mark the position of the seal lip, carefully pry and remove the seal. Press in the new seal with a mandrel, lubricating it with transmission fluid.
5. Install the torque converter and transmission.
