Checking the engine oil level (Opel Astra G)

Before starting the engine.

Place the vehicle on a level surface.

The level is checked before the trip or at least 5 minutes after the trip.

1. Remove the dipstick.



2. Wipe the dipstick clean, reinsert it and remove it again.



3. The oil level should be between the MAX (upper) and MIN (lower) marks. To bring the level from the lower mark to the upper mark, you need to pour in about 1.0 liter of oil.



4. Add oil through the filler neck. When adding oil, monitor the level. Overfilling is not allowed.
