Changing a wheel on a car (Opel Astra G)

1. On the Astra model, the jack is located in a niche inside the luggage compartment, under the spare wheel. Unscrew the nut and remove the holder, take out the spare wheel. On the Zafira model, the jack is located under the casing at the rear of the luggage compartment floor.



2. On the Astra, the spare wheel is located under a cover inside the luggage compartment. On the Zafira, the spare wheel is located under a folding section of the luggage compartment floor.



3. Loosen the mounting bolts of the wheel being replaced.



4. Place the jack under the reinforced section of the body sill (remove the decorative trim if necessary). Turn the jack handle clockwise until the wheel is raised off the ground.





5. Loosen the bolts and remove the wheel.



6. Install the spare wheel, tighten the bolts and tighten them.



7. Lower the vehicle, remove the jack and tighten the bolts completely.
