Outdoor lighting fixtures — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

Headlight/Front Direction Indicator

1. Remove the front bumper.

2. Unscrew the 2 upper and 1 lower bolts, remove the headlight by disconnecting the connector. Unscrew the screws and remove the decorative bumper trim at the bottom of the headlight (see photo).











3. If necessary, remove by turning it 90° (see photo).





4. Installation is performed in reverse order. Check and, if necessary, adjust the headlight beam at a car service center.

Front fog lights

5. Remove the front bumper.

6. Unscrew the 3 bolts and remove the headlight, disconnecting the connector (see photo).

Side turn signal repeater

7. Move the repeater diffuser back and remove it from the wing.



8. Remove the repeater lamp and disconnect the wires.

9. When assembling, press the back of the diffuser until it clicks into place.

Rear lights

10. The procedure for removing the rear lights is illustrated in the photo.

License plate light (hatchback and sedan)

11. The license plate light on hatchback and sedan models is mounted in the upper part of the rear bumper.

12. Remove the diffuser, press on the right edge of the lamp and pull it out by the left edge. Disconnect the wires (see photo).

License plate light (station wagon and Zafira)

13. Loosen the screws and remove the flashlight diffuser from the rear cover.
