Antenna — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

1. On hatchback models, remove the rear lid seal. Remove the rear side trim panels (Chapter 11). Remove the upper handles by removing the pins (see photo). Carefully pull the back edge of the upholstery.



2. On sedan models, remove the trim.

3. On estate and Zafira models, remove the rear cover seal near the rear trim panel. Remove the interior light, pry up and remove the light base.

4. Disconnect the cable from the antenna. On some vehicles, also disconnect the telephone and power cables.

5. Unscrew the nut and remove the antenna from the roof (see photo).



6. If it is necessary to remove the cable between the antenna and the receiver, then the floor section and side panels should be dismantled (Chapter 11).
