Hood Lock Drive Cable — Removal and Installation (Opel Astra G)

1. Open the hood.

2. Unscrew the cable mounting bracket from the front bulkhead.

3. Disconnect the cable from the lever in the recess on the driver's side. If necessary, remove the lever (see photo).





4. Pull into the engine compartment. Remove the cable from the brackets.

5. Install the cable in reverse order. Once finished, check the operation of the hood lock.
