Outside Door Handle — Removing and Stopping (Opel Astra G)

Front door handle

1. Remove the inner door panel, move the water-repellent screen, remove the rear window guide (see photo).



2. Remove the handle by following the steps illustrated in the photo.









3. When assembling, adjust the rod. To do this, rotate the knurled plastic rod nut and adjust the lock rod so that there is no play in the handle.

Rear door handle

4. Remove the inner door panel, move the water-repellent screen, remove the rear window guide (see photo).

5. Disconnect the rod from the handle through the opening in the door frame (the rod is secured with a plastic bracket).





6. Unscrew the 2 nuts and remove the handle cover. Remove the handle from the outside (see photo).
