Removal and installation the interior rearview mirror (Opel Astra G)

Removal

1. Squeeze the plastic clips and remove the mirror from the backing plate.

The mirror support plate is glued to the windshield with a special adhesive and under normal conditions it is usually not disturbed - remember that if you try to remove the plate, the glass may crack.

Installation

If necessary, the support plate can be glued to the glass with special glue - ask in car accessory stores.

1. The top edge of the plate should be at least 10 cm from the edge of the windshield 15.0 mm. Until the glue hardens (see attached instructions) the plate should be fixed to the glass with tape.

2. Place the mirror on the plate until the clips snap into place.
