If there are any problems with the engine management system, check that the air filter element is clean, the spark plugs are in good condition and have the gaps adjusted, the engine ventilation hoses are not clogged and the accelerator cable is adjusted correctly. Also check the compression pressure in the cylinders and the valve clearances.

If the checks carried out do not determine the cause of the deterioration in engine performance, it is necessary to have the engine checked at a service station.
