Pre-heating system control unit
The unit is located on the left front side of the engine compartment.
Removal and installation
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Unscrew the block mounting nut.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the base of the unit, unscrew the two nuts and remove the power supply wires. Remove the unit.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Fuel filter heating element
Removal and installation
1. Remove the fuel filter.
2. Remove the ground cable from the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector from the heating element.
3. Unscrew the central bolt and remove the heating element from the fuel filter housing.
4. Install a new sealing ring into the recess of the heating element, install the heating element onto the fuel filter housing and secure with the center bolt.
5. Connect the battery and install the fuel filter.
