Carrying out work using the N KM-565 tool



1. Remove the camshaft cover.

2. Turn the crankshaft so that the camshaft cam of the tappet you are going to remove is pointing straight up. Unscrew the spark plug from the corresponding cylinder.

3. Attach the special tool to the camshaft housing and remove the tappet, hydraulic lifter and thrust washer from the top of the valve.

4. Lubricate the removed parts with oil and install them in their places.

2. Prepare eight numbered boxes.

5. Remove the thrust pads.

6. Place the pieces of each valve in the appropriate box.

Examination

Inspect the removed parts for signs of wear and damage. Replace worn or damaged parts if necessary.

Installation



1. Lubricate the lifters and lifter holes in the cylinder head with oil.

2. Install the thrust pads.

3. Lubricate the tappets with oil and install them in their places.
