General description (Opel Omega A)

The twin-tube driveshaft has a central bearing supported in a rubber boot. The tail section has a universal joint at the front end and the front section has a slider joint at the rear end. The driveshaft is connected to the transmission and differential by flexible coupling discs. The universal joint cannot be rebuilt.
