1. Block the front wheels. Jack up the rear of the car, secure it on axle stands.
2. Apply the handbrake, then loosen only the slider coupling nut on the front of the driveshaft. Note that on models equipped with a catalytic converter, the small heat shield must be removed from the underside of the vehicle to gain access to the nut.
3. Unscrew the flange (tsy) cardan shaft from a flexible connecting disk.
4. Unscrew the flexible connection from the flange (tsev) differential gear and/or transmission.
5. Push the appropriate part of the driveshaft towards the center bearing and remove the connecting disc (ki). If necessary, use a lever to remove the cardan shaft from the flange (tsev) drive.
6. Install a new floppy connection disk (ki) in reverse order of removal.
