Engine Mounting Brackets — Replacement (Opel Omega A)

1. Apply the handbrake. Jack up the front of the car and secure it on axle stands.

2. Remove the nuts from the top of both engine mount brackets.

3. Using a winch or stand, raise the engine approximately 25 mm.

4. Unscrew the lower nuts, remove the engine mounting brackets. On models with automatic transmission, you will need to unscrew the engine mounting bracket hangers.

5. Install the new brackets using the reverse of the removal procedure, making sure the bracket references fit over the pins on the hangers (photo).
