1. High voltage wires do not require any attention, just keep them clean and wipe them regularly. When checking spark plugs, remove each spark plug high voltage wire from the distributor cap. Water can get into the connections causing white corrosion. It must be carefully removed from the end of each wire and from the clamp socket in the cover of the breaker-distributor.
2. High voltage wires have resistance that can be checked with an ohmmeter. The resistance of each wiring must comply with the Specifications. Replace all high voltage wires if resistance is excessive.
