Removing
1. Open the hood.
2. Raise and secure the car.
3. Remove the insulating cover of the engine compartment.
4. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
5. Remove the front intermediate drive shaft.
6. Remove the front intermediate drive shaft bracket.
7. Drain engine oil.
8. Disconnect the wire connector (1) oil level sensor.
9. Loosen the bolt (1) forced crankcase ventilation system and move the pipe to the side. Remove sealing washer (2).
10. Remove the gearbox bolt (3).
11. Remove the two catalytic converter bracket bolts (1).
12. Loosen the bolt (2) gearboxes.
13. To turn away 12 bolts of fastening.
Note. Mark the position of the oil pan bolts as they are of different lengths.
14. Turn the engine crankshaft to gain access to the remaining two bolts through the hole in the flywheel.
15. Remove the oil pan (2) using cutter EN-37228.
Note.
- Use the right tool.
- Be careful not to damage the oil pan or its contact surfaces.
16. Remove seal (2) from oil pump (1).
Installation
1. Install new seal (2) to the oil pump (1).
2. Clean the contact surfaces of the oil pump intake (3).
Note. Make sure that the contact surfaces of the oil pan are free of oil, grease and sealant residues.
3. Clean the contact surfaces of the oil pan.
4. Apply a bead of sealant with a diameter of 2 mm to the contact surfaces of the oil pan.
Note
- Do not allow sealant to enter the oil pan bolt holes as this may damage the bolt threads or the cylinder block.
- The installation procedure should take no more than ten minutes.
5. Install oil pan (2).
6. Install 10 M8 bolts and tighten to 25 Nm.
7. Install 4 bolts M6 and tighten to 9 Nm.
8. Install two bolts (1) catalytic converter bracket bracket and tighten to 20 Nm.
9. Install the gearbox bolt (2) and tighten to 40 Nm.
10. Install a new O-ring (2) in the branch pipe of the forced crankcase ventilation system.
11. Install the branch pipe of the forced crankcase ventilation system and tighten the bolt (1) torque 9 Nm.
12. Install the gearbox bolt (3) and tighten to 40 Nm.
13. Connect the electrical connector (1) engine oil level sensor.
14. Install the front intermediate drive shaft bracket.
15. Install the front intermediate drive shaft.
16. Install the front exhaust pipe.
17. Install the insulating cover of the engine compartment.
18. Lower the car.
19. Fill engine oil into the engine.
20. Close the hood.
