Removing
1. Open the hood.
2. Raise and secure the car.
3. Place a drip pan under the engine.
4. Remove the oil drain plug.
5. Drain the engine oil into the prepared pan.
6. Install the drain plug with a new O-ring and tighten to 14 Nm.
7. Lower the car.
8. Remove the oil dipstick guide tube.
9. Raise the car.
10. Remove the mudguard of the engine compartment.
11. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
12. Remove three bolts (1, 2) attaching the oil pan to the gearbox.
13. Remove 15 mounting bolts (1) and remove the oil pan (2).
Note. Using a suitable tool, use a suitable tool to loosen the oil sump evenly from the cylinder block.
14. To prevent damage to the oil pickup, make sure the strainer is (2) stayed in the tray (3). If the strainer is stuck to the cylinder block (1), push it into the pallet.
Note. Use a screwdriver or other suitable tool.
15. Remove the oil pan from the engine.
Installation
1. Clean contact surfaces.
2. Apply a bead of sealant with a diameter of approximately 3.5 mm to the joints indicated by the arrows in the figure.
3. Apply a 3.5 mm diameter bead of sealant to the edges of the sump as shown.
Note. The installation time of the oil pan, including the procedure for tightening the mounting bolts, should take no more than ten minutes.
4. Install 15 mounting bolts (1) on the oil pan (2) and tighten to 10 Nm.
5. Install 3 oil pan bolts (1, 2) on the gearbox and tighten to 40 Nm.
6. Install the front exhaust pipe.
7. Install the engine compartment mudguard.
8. Lower the car.
9. Install the oil dipstick fitting.
10. Fill engine oil into the engine.
Note. Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
11. Close the hood.
